Tŷ Nos - Wrexham Night Shelter


Ty Nos offers comfortable and safe accommodation on a nightly basis, between the hours of 8.00 pm and 8.00 am, for people over 18 years of age who do not have a tenancy, pay rent, or have anywhere to live. The Shelter can accommodate up to 16 people and includes 4 four bed spaces for females in a separate dormitory.



Beds are in either a 12 bedded dormitory (males) or a 4 bedded room (females). There are separate and fully equipped male and female bathroom/shower facilities.  Hot drinks, an evening meal and breakfast are available at no cost, in a fully equipped kitchen and dining area. Ty Nos is on a main bus route and is within easy walking distance of Wrexham town centre, with easy access to shops and local services and agencies. 



Staff at Ty Nos offer a basic support service which includes: advice on accessing medical services, accessing Housing Benefits and Welfare Benefits, accessing permanent accommodation etc.  



Ty Nos is staffed between the hours of 7:00 pm to 9:00 am by an experienced staff team.  


Applying for Accommodation 

To be eligible for accommodation at Ty Nos you must be over 18 and eligible for Housing Benefit or have the means to pay the full nightly charge. Accommodation is allocated on a nightly basis and is allocated on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. You may be able to stay more than one night, depending on demand for the bed spaces.
