New tenants at the Hafan Gwydir extra care housing scheme in Llanrwst have ‘gone back to school’ in style this week as they moved in to new apartments created as part of the transformation of the Old Grammar School buildings.

Local residents and volunteers who help out in the community were treated to a Christmas lunch and party at the Tesco store in Mold last week.

The first tenants have been welcomed to Maes y Dderwen, the new £10 million extra care housing scheme for older people in Wrexham.

An innovative housing scheme at the heart of Rhyl’s regeneration initiative has won a prestigious UK award.

A development of 38 new affordable homes for local people is planned for Llanbedr Dyffryn Clwyd, near Ruthin, in Denbighshire.
