Other Housing Options
Demand for Housing Association and Council Accommodation is high and waiting times in many areas are long. If you need accommodation quickly you should consider other housing options.
- Private Rented Accommodation
- Mutual Exchange
- Low Cost Home Ownership
- Other Social Housing Providers
- Housing Options for Older People
- Housing Options for Younger People
Single Access Route to Housing (SARTH)
We are one of a Group of Housing Providers working in Conwy, Denbighshire & Flintshire who want to change things to make it easier for people to apply to us for housing. The Partnership includes:
- Clwyd Alyn Housing Association
- Cymdeithas Tai Clwyd
- North Wales Housing
- Cartrefi Conwy
- Wales & West Housing
- Denbighshire County Council
- Flintshire County Council
- Conwy County Council
Why do we want to change things?
One reason is that currently each landlord has a separate housing register and policy. We want to simplify this, for the benefit of applicants. Another reason is that there isn’t actually enough housing for everyone on our housing registers. So, we want to give people better advice. We want to tell people about useful alternatives to just waiting on a housing register.
