The Board & Management Team
Responsibility for the management of Clwyd Alyn rests with the Board of Management who have a wealth of skills and experience gained over many years, and offer their services and expertise on a voluntary basis.
The Board comprises nine Board Members: five appointed by Pennaf, two independent Board Members and two resident representatives who are appointed by Residents (one for each regional area, i.e. Wrexham/Powys/Flintshire and Conwy/ Denbighshire/Anglesey.
The Board meets bi-monthly and meetings are open to the public to attend, with a closed session being held at the end of each meeting as necessary, for confidential business to be discussed. In addition to the Board meetings, there are also a range of Advisory and House Committees that monitor the management of specific projects and report to the Board on their activities, e.g. Residential Home Advisory Committees, Hostel Committees, Foyer Committees and Scrutiny Panel Committee.
Membership is open to the public subject to meeting certain criterion and approval by the Board of Management. The day to day running of Pennaf is the responsibility of the Management Team, supported by the Executive Team.
