Training & Development

We don’t just look at the person you are now, we see who you can be in the future.  Which is why we offer Personal and Professional development, no matter how long you’ve been with us or how many hours you work.

Induction – Corporate and Personal

To welcome you to the job, we meet with you to help you understand more about what we do and where the organisation is going.

Paid Subscriptions to Professional Bodies

If, as part of your job, you subscribe to a professional body, such as the CIMA, CIPD, we help pay your annual fees.

Executive and Management Development Programmes and Strategic Leadership Development Programme

Training doesn’t stop when you get to the top; we help develop leaders as part of their continual personal development.   Not yet a manager?   Then not a problem we offer a suite of management development programmes to help you develop.

Apprenticeships & Traineeships

For those starting out on a new career path we have vacancies for apprentices and trainees, where you’ll work towards an industry recognised qualification but also gain hands on practical experience.

For existing staff looking to develop their skills, we can also support you with an apprenticeship which will help give you more confidence in what you do and grow in your role.

E-Learning

To access training from the comfort of your own desk, we also have a variety of e-learning packages which allows you to learn through interactive exercises online.

Grow Your Own

We are keen to keep building on our skills and to keep growing you will therefore see that we offer training and employment opportunities to residents, staff and people in the local community.  Look out for our school and college placements, apprenticeships, traineeships and volunteering placements in the 'work for us' section on our website.  There just maybe something for you!!
