Quality Housing with friendly support

Erw Groes Family Centre is an 11 flat Project in Holywell that provides high quality short term / emergency accommodation for homeless families. The Centre can accommodate vulnerable families in one of its 11 fully furnished self contained flats that include a kitchen, lounge, bedrooms and a bathroom. There is also secure parking on site for Residents accessing the Project.

We provide staff support 7 days a week in safe and secure premises, and the opportunity to break free from a homeless lifestyle.


How do we help you?

The type of support provided will vary according to your specific needs. Here are some examples of the types of support we provide:

• 24 hour support, 365 days of the year

• Welfare Benefits advice

• Money management

• Advice on healthcare, e.g. Doctor, Dentist

• Drug and Alcohol advice and referral

• Structured move on plan and portfolio

• Access to employment and training

• Access to move on accommodation

• 24 hour support, 365 days of the year

• Range of activities to help you get involved and learn new life skills

• Access to work experience and work placement opportunities via our social enterprise

• Life skills advice.


Assessing your Support Needs

On your first visit to Erw Groes Family Centre, we will meet with you to assess your needs and risk. This is so we can find out if we can meet all your needs. Occasionally, we will not be able to accommodate some people, if this is the case we will explain our reasons and will do our best to help you find more suitable accommodation.

Throughout your stay at the Erw Groes Family Centre our staff will help you to work through an Individual Support Plan, which will help you achieve your goals and aspirations.
