MyClwydAlyn - Frequently Asked Questions 

How do I create a MyClwydAlyn account?

Registration

To register, go to: www.myclwydalyn.co.uk and select ‘register here’, you will need to complete the registration form, which will ask you for the following:

  • Email address
  • To create a password
  • You will then be sent an email with a link to confirm your email address. Please make sure you check your spam and junk folder too. The link will be available for 24 hours only. After the 24 hours, you will need to contact our Contact Centre on 0800 183 5757 to complete your registration.

Validation

To validate your account, go to www.myclwydalyn.co.uk , log in using the email address and password you registered with.

Once logged in, select ‘validate tenancy’ from the main menu, you will need to complete this validation form, which will ask you for the following:

  • Tenancy reference number (which you will find on a recent statement)
  • Date of birth

Then, select ‘validate’, which will complete the validation. You will then be able to access your tenancy information via MyClwydAlyn

How do I access MyClwydAlyn?

You can access MyClwydAlyn by visiting: www.myclwydalyn.co.uk

Where can I find my tenancy reference number?

You can find your tenancy reference number on a recent rent statement from us.

How do I reset my password? / Forgotten my password?

Go to www.myclwydalyn.co.uk, on the main screen, underneath where you type your log in details, select ‘forgot password’ then enter your email address that you used to create the account and click send. An email will be sent to you, with instructions on how to change your password. (If you can't see the email in your Inbox after a few minutes, please check your Spam or Junk folder.)

My details are incorrect on MyClwydAlyn

From the main screen, select ‘My Home’. On here you will find a summary of all the information we hold about you:

  • Property details
  • Your details
  • Household members
  • Rent balance

If any of these details are incorrect, please complete the online form by clicking ‘update my details’.

I made a payment yesterday, why isn't it showing on my statement yet?

Once a payment is made, firstly, it must be processed and received into our bank account before its updated on our system. Depending when and how you made your payment it may take a few days before it appears on your statement and your balance is updated. If you receive Housing Benefit this may not have been paid in before your current balance was updated.

I pay regularly by Direct Debit so why does my account show me in arrears?

Your Direct Debit payments are spread equally across a 12-month period, so that at the end of the financial year (April-March) your rent account will be paid in full.

This does mean that your account may show in arrears between payments.

I have arrears on my account, what can I do?

Don’t worry, please get in touch with us so we can help you. Our Housing Team have helped support many residents. You can get in touch via the ‘My Rent’ page.  First, select the drop-down arrow by the following message: ‘Are you struggling with your finances, then get in touch with our Housing Team.

Then, simply answer the short questions on the form and select ‘proceed’ and someone will be in touch with you. Touch to help you.

How secure is MyClwydAlyn?

We ensure all information on our website and our internal systems is kept strictly confidential and managed in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

Our website uses SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) technology. This ensures that all data passed between the web server and browsers remains private.

It is very important that you keep your password secure and do not write it down or tell anyone unless you want them to be able to access your account on your behalf.
