About Us

Our mission is 'together to beat poverty' - We want everyone in North Wales to have access to excellent quality housing, and we want to work with partners to address the causes and impacts of poverty. In turn helping to enrich our communities by giving support where it's needed, whether that’s helping people getting back into work, combatting social isolation or support or providing access to nutritious food.

Our Values are Hope, Trust and Kindness. We include these in all that we do.

ClwydAlyn Housing Limited was formed in 1978 as a non-charitable Registered Social Landlord when a group of local people recognised the need for good quality affordable rented housing in the County of Clwyd and the District of Aberconwy and registered Clwyd Alyn Housing Limited as a social landlord. Their determination and commitment sowed the seeds from which we have grown.

In April 2019 we simplified our structure and established ClwydAlyn Housing Limited as our registered name.

ClwydAlyn has developed significantly over the decades and now manages over 6,000 units of accommodation and provides related support services across North Wales (Denbighshire, Flintshire, Gwynedd, Conwy, Wrexham, Powys and Isle of Anglesey).

Our accommodation and services range from affordable general family housing and single person accommodation through supported living accommodation and specialist Care & Support to Low Cost Home Ownership, intermediate and market rented accommodation.

ClwydAlyn is a Charitable Registered Society (No. 22360R), is a Registered Social Landlord (No. L051), ‘is Authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority’ and our registered office is 72 Ffordd William Morgan, St Asaph Business Park, St Asaph, LL17 0JD.
