This is a development of 21 new affordable homes in Aston Mead, Flintshire.
The £2.65 million scheme, is being developed by the Pennaf Housing Group in partnership with Flintshire County Council. The scheme is part of the Social Housing Grant (SHG) Programme and the Welsh Government is providing £662,000 towards the total scheme cost.
The development will include 21 new homes, which includes, three and four bedroom family homes as well as one bungalow.
The housing scheme’s name was chosen after schoolchildren at St Ethelwold’s Primary School in Shotton, suggested the scheme should be named in honour of the late Gary Speed, former Wales football Captain and Manager, who grew up nearby.
