Mrs Joan Jones (pictured), a tenant at the Plas Telford extra care housing scheme in Acrefair, recently won the Ladies Singles title at the Johnstown Indoor Bowling Club

“We’d like to congratulate Mrs Jones on her success. Living in an extra care self-contained apartment is an excellent option for those wanting to remain independent in a home of their own, living life to the full, while having the peace of mind of having access to support when needed,” said Yvonne Jones, Extra Care Manager at the scheme which is managed by Clwyd Alyn Housing Association in partnership with Wrexham County Borough Council.
