ClwydAlyn is sponsoring the Supporting Future Generations Award
ClwydAlyn is proud to be sponsoring the Supporting Future Generations Award at the Chartered Institute of Housing’s annual Welsh Housing Awards.
The Welsh Housing Awards recognise and celebrate the creativity, passion, and innovation of housing organisations and individuals across the sector in Wales; and is due to take place virtually on the 30th September 2021.
The past year has been monumentally challenging for us all, but 2020 has shown just how much the housing sector has pulled together to overcome enormous challenges and obstacles. Continuing to deliver vital services and support to communities, at time when people have needed it the most.
Clare Budden, Chief Executive of ClwydAlyn, said: “It’s a privilege to be able to sponsor an award which recognises the contribution of forward-thinking projects that will benefit the generations to come.
“We have chosen to sponsor this award as it fits with our mission of beating poverty, and our own plans, which have a firm focus on supporting and giving hope to our future generations. Some of those plans include addressing resident and youth unemployment through training, apprenticeships and job opportunities; as well as creating sustainable communities for the future and reducing our impact on the environment.”
Winning applications for the Supporting Future Generations Award will be able to demonstrate:
- Specific ways through which future generations will benefit from the work of the project
- A coproduced approach that shows the benefit of gaining expertise and insight from people receiving services and the wider community
- An awareness of and links with the well-being goal reflected within our landmark legislation – the Well-being of Future Generations (Wales) Act 2015
- The potential impact and benefits for the local community/environment
Applications must be submitted before 5pm on Friday 9 July 2021.
