Pay & Benefits


We are paid on the 16th of each month or the nearest working day. Our pay is reviewed annually and pay increments are awarded in April.


We have a Defined Contribution Pension Scheme to help you enjoy your retirement.


Up to 31 days plus Bank Holidays.


We know that many of our staff will want to start a family so we provide additional occupational payments when you have a baby or adopt.  If your partner has a baby we give you a week’s holiday.


If you have children you can save money on their childcare by using our Childcare Voucher Scheme.

Cycle to Work

We have a Cycle to Work scheme.


If you don’t fancy cycling to work we have a health and wellbeing plan to help us all keep healthy.

Sick Pay

If you are unwell we have an occupational sick scheme. We also have an occupational health team to help you get back to work.


We will give you a voucher if you need an eye test and will help pay towards your glasses if you need them for computer work.


We have a confidential counselling service for staff that need support during a difficult time.

Staff get together

We hold Staff Conferences where staff from across the Group come together to have a fun day, to celebrate success and to learn about what the Group are doing.

Pennaf Star Awards

We award a member of staff every quarter, who has gone above and beyond.  We give them a nice certificate and a day off as a thank you.

Giving back

Under our Give and Gain scheme we try to give back to our community by letting our staff do voluntary work such as clearing wasteland to create allotments.

Welsh Language Classes

We are proud to be an employer in Wales and encourage our staff to learn Welsh at our work based courses or we pay for evening classes.
