Clare Budden

Group Chief Executive and Board Member

I am the Group Chief Executive for ClwydAlyn, and have had a long career working in Housing Associations and Local Government.

I am the Chair of 2025, (a movement established to address avoidable health inequality), and a Board Member of WISH North Wales (a network which encourages women to achieve their life and career ambitions).

I am passionate about eradicating poverty and inequality, and I get angry that where you live, or are born still affects life outcomes so much.

I am a proud Welsh girl, living close to where I was brought up in North Wales. I feel lucky that I have been able to live the life I choose, and want to do what I can in work to make sure others can too.
