An end to homelessness would mean that no one is sleeping on the streets and no one is living in temporary accommodation. People would have a choice of where they wanted to live and in what tenure. Stable communities would emerge where people can thrive and be empowered to live well and take advantage of the opportunities that having a permanent address and a home that is an anchor for life can bring.
Our corporate plan 2025 – 2030 sets out our mission to end poverty in North Wales.
Five years ago, we committed to using our resources to go above and beyond being a great landlord to tackle one of the biggest challenges facing many of our communities across the region.
During this time, we’ve achieved a lot – from building over 1,000 high quality new homes and investing significantly in making our existing homes warmer and more affordable to heat, to forming partnerships to improve access to affordable, healthy food and to provide employment experience and opportunities for local young people.
Whilst our work continues to make a difference, we know that poverty and inequalities continue to grow across North Wales, and the scale of this challenge means that we can only achieve the bold goals and aims which we have set by working collaboratively.
If you feel that your goals and ours align and would like to explore how we can do more and better work together, please get in touch with us at communications@clwydalyn.co.uk and we’d be happy to arrange a chat with our Executive Team.
