ClwydAlyn welcomed Buckley Mayor, Cllr Lorraine Rathbone and Flintshire County Council’s Housing Strategy Manager Marj Cooper and Strategic Housing & Delivery Programme Manager, Paul Calland to a recent event to celebrate progress on site, as the Well Street development of affordable new homes for the local community begins to take shape.

The £18 million Well Street development of 83 modern homes, developed by ClwydAlyn in conjunction with contractor Castle Green Partnerships, Flintshire County Council and Welsh Government, is a sustainable development of family homes which will be allocated to local families through the Sarth Housing Register and Tai Teg.

Affordable Homes for Local Residents

ClwydAlyn’s progressive development combines a selection of modern 2,-3 and-4-bedroom homes, 2-bedroom bungalows and 1-bedroom apartments. The development will also benefit from two purpose built adapted bungalows, which will be allocated to residents with accessibility requirements.

Lower Fuel Costs and Energy Savings

All ClwydAlyn’s new homes at Well Street have been designed to keep fuel bills at a minimum. Beneficially, the homes will support the environment and offer fuel efficiencies, with lower carbon emissions which contribute to a greener future.
