A vibrant and welcoming sensory garden has officially opened at Chirk Court Nursing Home in Chirk, near Wrexham. Llys Marchan in Ruthin is a care home which offers 10 residential places, for adults requiring support for mental ill health. Staff at the purpose-built care home are dedicated to delivering the highest standards of care and companionship to the residents. This week, that included a visit from four adorable lambs which were just one week old.
Residents were welcomed into their new homes at Maes Deudraeth in Penrhyndeudraeth last week. The properties, which include 41 timber-framed, energy-efficient houses and apartments, form part of the Gwynedd Affordable Housing Development Programme and have been developed by ClwydAlyn and Grŵp Cynefin.
There were smiles all around, when the residents of Merton Place care home welcomed some small, fluffy visitors, and the excited school children who had helped to hatch them!
