ClwydAlyn is pleased to announce that it has been approached by the Board of Rosa Hovey Housing Trust, a family-run business to take on its responsibilities to own and manage 12 homes in the county of Conwy.
The transfer of responsibilities, assets, and liabilities from Rosa Hovey Housing Trust reflects the trust and reputation ClwydAlyn has built over the years in the housing sector. We are honoured that Rosa Hovey Housing Trust has chosen us to continue the legacy of the Trust.
The Rosa Hovey Housing Trust was founded in the 1930’s to form a legacy for the Hovey family. Rosa Hovey was the Headmistress of Penrhos Girls’ School in Colwyn Bay from 1894 to 1928.
The Trust was set up shortly after Rosa’s death to: ‘Provide reasonable housing accommodation for deserving working people on low income at affordable rents and elderly gentlefolk.’
Four houses were built, gradually growing to its current twelve. There are three flats, and nine houses.
ClwydAlyn is committed to maintaining exceptional standards and acquiring these 12 homes enables us to grow our housing offer in Conwy.
