ClwydAlyn Women's Aid
For individuals and children experiencing domestic abuse
ClwydAlyn Women’s Aid is a specialist domestic abuse service, providing confidential, trauma-informed support to individuals and their children who have experienced domestic abuse.
Working within ClwydAlyn’s supported living services, ClwydAlyn Women’s Aid combines safe accommodation with emotional and practical support to help survivors move from crisis towards safety, recovery, and longer-term independence. The service responds to individuals’ needs, wishes and choices, promoting hope, kindness and trust while addressing inequality and supporting vulnerable people within our communities.

- Access to in house specialist mental health and counselling support.
- A specialist mental health domestic abuse officer
- Children and young people’s services
- Crisis intervention
- Outreach and floating support
- Communal and self-contained refuge safe house provision
- Recovery programmes: Freedom Programme, STAR, Own My Life, DART, Space and Hope2recovery
- A drop-in service
- Signposting to specialist legal advisors
- Information on housing and benefits
- An emergency out of hours on call service accessible 24/7, 365 days a year through our umbrella organisation Welsh Women’s Aid.
