At a recent event in Wrexham, planned to share insights from its sector-leading organisational corporate strategy, housing association ClwydAlyn detailed its aim to put an end to poverty; voicing that support from local and national government, stakeholders and community leaders would be vital to achieve its objectives.
A new outdoor wellbeing room has been created at Llys Marchan Care Home in Ruthin, to support the mental and physical health of residents and staff; offering a calm and creative space to relax, reflect and connect.
Residents were welcomed into their new homes at Guilsfield near Welshpool this week. The properties, which include 28 timber-framed, energy-efficient houses and apartments, have been built by Williams Homes on behalf of ClwydAlyn, in partnership with Powys County Council and Welsh Government.
DFN Project SEARCH is a nationally recognised employability programme which supports young adults with learning differences to spend a year with a host workplace. Designed to help young people reach their full potential, and to give employers the opportunity to see it too, the programme is facilitated by a partnership between two charities, DFN and Hft. For interns, the aim is to build readiness for the workplace and nurture life skills like confidence and independence.
